New Global Standards for Sustainable Buildings and Products
The US Green Building Council has developed LEED® — a new "building rating system" that assigns points for incorporating green building materials, energy systems, and furniture into the design of new buildings or renovated facilities. When points meet specified levels, projects are eligible for special funding programs at the federal, state, and local levels.

SICO Products Earn GREENGUARD® Certification.
As part of the commitment by SICO® to support this effort, we have a growing number of SICO® products that have now been certified with the GREENGUARD® mark of distinction. All of these product s have gone through a stringent independent testing program that has affirmed that they meet the high standards set by the GREENGUARD® Environmental Institute for product emissions into the indoor air stream.
