New Extension for Existing SSP Customer
The ever increasing trend for larger space during national and international conventions and meetings prompted the Queensland State Government to commence construction on a large extension for existing SSP customer, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This new extension has resulted in one of SSP's biggest highlights for 2008.
The large installation into the centre was aided by SSP's long time association with GCCEC. The staging installation included 18 Roll N Set Units, 75 Venue Maker Decks, Articulating steps, guardrails and transport trolleys. With tables totalling at 260 SST folding leg tables in various sizes, 10 Two Tier Catering Tables and 20 Single Tier Catering tables. The extension is set to double the GCCEC's total exhibition space and is was offically opened early into 2009.
